Welcome

American Legion POST 273 is located in Grand Marsh Wisconsin and since our charter Post 273 has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. We continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post 273 enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community Our mission is to help you implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families as embodied in our American Legion preamble below.

    The American Legion as a whole supports various programs in communities across our Nation. POST 273 supports local scholarships, We make donations to Camp American Legion (free to Veterans and Families) provide Wheelchairs, Walking Cains and Walkers, help to pay hospital bills and support Freedom Flight for Veterans, just to name a few.

   All these things cost money and we can only do so much with limited resources. We raise funds through Raffles, Brat fries, Car shows, Rummage sales, and donations from Patriots and local Business; Your support is greatly appreciated.

We invite the wonderful patriotic citizens of the Adams and surrounding Counties and  Wisconsins communities to Join our Post 273 as a Support Booster (Local Citizens) Click Here or Support Sponsor (Local Business). THE AMERICAN LEGION PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION

"For God and country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes: To uphold and defend the constitution of the United States of America; to maintain law and order; to foster and prepetuate a 100% Americanism; to perserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the great wars; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation; to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses; to make right the masters of might; to promote peace and good will on earth; to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedow and democracy; to consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness."
